As I shared at the end of the year last and beginning of this one in this episode here , I have been on an interesting path these months of 2025 and thus have been in a somewhat of a hiatus with the podcast. Yet now tis time to begin again and I will post podcast episodes as Source/God inspires me to rather than every week etc. so keep posted here and please subscribe to receive each new one when it comes oot.
This said, part of my absence has been about the journey of who I will now introduce all of yous to which is my cat/kitty baby Princess Akasha (aptly named Princess by the goddess who owns a pet shoppe here on island, I named her Akasha). She is about 15 months olde (birthday is some time in the February 2024 nearest I have been able to tell thus I kinda reckon either Valentines Day and/or my twinsouls birthday will be a great day to consider her birthday! 🐈💜) and is a Silver Shaded/Tabby British Shorthair or aka a British Shorthair Silver Shaded. Her former owners who ironically named her Ash (so close to Akasha 🥰🐈) moved hoose (house) off island and being that all the animals I have had in my life have been rescues in various ways, I rescued Akasha from her being placed in a precarious situation of nae having a home.
Animal cruelty is something that really hits home fir me because as I can remember being as young as 5 and all the way through my childhood and teen years watching my mum abuse our dogs in various forms (much as she also abused me) and one of our dogs in particular Dolly whom she would kick often, so much so one time she done such and broke her foot! Since I was a wee bairn I have been an animal communicator and thus always heard, felt, seen, and understood deeply how harmed Dolly was and my heart ached fir her and it was in such moments I made a vow that I would nae ever treat animals nor humans as she done.
This is why to watch the first cat I had that adopted me who came to me so malnourished and nae taken care of as I share here in this episode and then having to give her back broke my heart even more. And I took the time to grieve that loss, yet ultimately brought me to Princess Akasha now 💜🐈 and the divine blessing she is. In just the short time she has been here she has shown me so much healing, love, and a remembering of what matters most and I fir her that it brings me tears as I write this 💜🐈, I feel humbly blessed to be her Kahu (click on the words her Kahu ⬅️ highlighted fir what this means).
Tis funny (ironic nae ha ha) that cats whence first forming a bond in REALationship with a human are much like folk who are afraid of Love and connection. Give them the space, time, occasional connection, presence rather than pressure, and love and they will be with you and be deeply loving with you always in a deep bond. Force the connection and they run away and hide scared 💜 And better said, tis nae even that they are afraid of Love and connection, because cats dearly desire such, tis more that they are to build that bond of trust with ye as they want to be able to feel safe and know that ye will nae hurt them....because as they feel safe, secure, loved, feeling presence rather than pressure(d), feeling that ye are attuning to them and their heart and soul so they feel understood, with consistency and predictability (routine), they will come closer and will Love you and bond with you deeply. What is said fir cats in connecting with humans, so too can be said fir human REALationships. Just as two cats can coexist together, sharing the same space without sacrificing their freedom, individuality, and uniqueness, so too can we as humans in REALationship honour and embrace our individual journeys whilst walking the Sacred Path of life and Love together in harmony.
And in this episode what I will dive into is how our REALationships with our animal friends are also a reflection of our relationships with other humans and an invitation on how to approach Love and connection with others.
From this episode as a foundation, I will be bringing forth other spiritual wisdom regarding REALationships of all forms, Soul Purpose, life, and more through such whiskers of wisdom of Princess Akasha and I. Fir now enjoy the whisker wisdom in this episode! and a slight P.S. ahead of time, after recording this episode, Akasha did fir a second day the same thing as the amasing healing thing she done with me that I share in this episode 🐈😹🥹💜. Healing and Love can be had in such amasing connections with animals and humans alike if we but understand and know how.
